Breaking! Is Kamna Pathak bidding adieu to Happu Ki Ultan Paltan?

After being a part of Happu Ki Ultan Paltan for four years, Kamna Pathak, who plays the character of Rajesh Happu Singh, is apparently all set to quit the show. We hear the actress will wrap up her shoot by the end of April. Kamna’s mother has been unwell for a long time, and she wants to take time off work to look after her. The break is also needed to take care of her health. She suffered a knee injury a while ago and wants to tend to it.

While our sources have told us that she is quitting the show, a unit hand said, “Kamna is an intrinsic part of Happu Ki Ultan Paltan. However, we understand that health is of utmost priority, and she needs to take care of herself and her mother. We are trying to make a bank of episodes, which will last us for at least six months. We don’t want the audience to miss her for long before she returns. She will come back to the show at the earliest once things are settled on the health front.”

Despite repeated attempts, Kamna and producer Binaiferr Kohli couldn’t be reached for comment.

On the personal front, Kamna tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Sandeep Shridhar on December 8 in Nagpur. The actress met Sandeep (an FTII graduate who was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s web series She) during one of his plays in Mumbai in 2014. In a chat with us about her partner, she admitted that it was love at first sight for her.

Happu Ki Ultan Paltan also features Yogesh Tripathi (he plays the title role of Happu Singh), Himani Shivpuri, Sanjay Choudhary, Gazal Sood, Sonal Panwar, Vishwanath Chatterjee, Sapna Sikawar, and Aryan Prajapati.
