Exclusive! Bigg Boss winners Munawar Faruqui, Elvish Yadav, Shweta Tiwari & Rubina Dilaik to battle in The Traitors 2
Multiple Bigg Boss winners are set to participate in the second season of The Traitors, currently being filmed in Rajasthan, turning the psychological reality format into a high-stakes contest between some of television’s most seasoned players.
According to sources, former winners Shweta Tiwari (Season 4), Munawar Faruqui (Season 17), Elvish Yadav (OTT Season 2), and Rubina Dilaik (Season 14) will be part of the show. Joining them is another familiar face from the franchise, Abhishek Malhan, further strengthening the reality show-heavy line-up this season.
The inclusion of multiple winners is expected to significantly raise the competitive quotient of the show, given their past experience with strategy-driven formats and strong audience recall. Unlike conventional reality shows, The Traitors relies heavily on psychological gameplay, deception, and the ability to read fellow contestants under pressure.
Contrary to earlier speculation, Mallika Sherawat will not be participating in the show. Sources close to the production have confirmed that she is not associated with the current season.
The Traitors 2 will be shot over approximately 14 days, with contestants—referred to as “innocents”—tasked with identifying the hidden “traitors” among them. The format, adapted from an internationally successful series, has gained popularity for its unpredictable twists and emphasis on trust and betrayal.
The first season of The Traitors featured a diverse mix of personalities from television, social media and entertainment, creating a volatile blend of strategy and drama. Contestants included Uorfi Javed, Nikita Luther, Raj Kundra, Jannat Zubair, Karan Kundrra, Harsh Gujral and Sudhanshu Pandey, among others. The mix of seasoned performers, influencers and wildcard players ensured constant shifts in alliances and suspicion, which became central to the show’s format. Ultimately, Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther emerged as winners, successfully navigating the game as “innocents” and outsmarting the traitors through a combination of instinct, strategy and timely alliances.
