Bigg Boss: Times when host Salman Khan lost his cool and got angry at the contestants

Bigg Boss 16 hosted by superstar Salman Khan has entered its final week. There are disagreements among the competitors because they come from all walks of life. Besides these squabbles, a few of them have their share of disagreements with the host himself. Let’s take a look at times when Salman Khan lost his cool at the contestants during the Weekend Ka Vaar:

Salman's gussa was evident in the first Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 15. Contestant Pratik Sehajpal's misbehaviour in the house had enraged the host after he came to know that Pratik had broken the latch of the bathroom door when co-contestant Vidhi Pandya was taking a bath. Furthermore, his comment that he would behave similarly if his mother or sister were in the restroom irritated the host even more. He scolded Pratik and lectured him on how his behaviour is tarnishing his reputation and advised him to improve on it. "You're looking like a fool," he had then said.

During Bigg Boss 13, Salman confronted Paras Chhabra about his closeness with Mahira Sharma. The latter attempted to give an excuse for his actions, which enraged the host. He stated that his then-girlfriend Akakansha Puri had contacted Salman and asked him to check on Paras but didn't pay heed to it. He went on to say that all of them were bogus statements, which irritated him. Salman advised him to be mindful of his tone when speaking to him. “Tu na… "Keep your voice quiet," he instructed.

Salman Khan slammed Bigg Boss 11, participant Zubair Khan during one of the 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episodes for disrespecting women in the house and using filthy language. An enraged Salman had threatened to make Zubair a dog once he was out of the house. Zubair, who was later evicted, filed a written statement against the actor.

In Bigg Boss 10, Priyanka Jagga, a commoner, not only irritated her fellow contestants but also got into a fight with Salman Khan. Salman got so enraged by Priyanka's arguments and nasty behaviour that he asked her to leave.

He began as an interesting contender on the show, but quickly drew Salman's fury for his antics on the show. Swami Om did everything to get into a fight with Salman, from making nasty comments in the show. He also threw urine on Bani J and Rohan Mehra during a task after which Salman told him to immediately get out of the house. But when he didn’t leave, Swami Om was taken out with the help of security.

Akashdeep Saigal, who had a fight with Salman Khan on the show, further also accused the Sultan star of ruining his career. Akashdeep had said back then that “I never hired any PR to destroy a career. I don't have a petty mind. I don't take 10 people along with me to make myself seem more powerful."

Salman Khan chastised Karishma Tanna in Season 8 for trying to take advantage of Gautam Gulati's position when he passionately apologized to her on television for abusing her during a job. Despite his efforts, Karishma appeared unrelenting, which irritated Salman, who talked to Karishma in the Bigg Boss room.

Kushal Tandon, a model-turned-actor, tested Salman's tolerance the most during Bigg Boss 7. Salman was not amused when Kushal threw insults at Kajol's sister and fellow housemate Tanishaa. Salman was irritated when he returned to the show after Kushal's sudden exit mid-way through.

In Bigg Boss 6, Imam irritated Salman, and the two had their fair share of squabbles on national television. Salman appeared to be annoyed with Imam for breaking the rules in the house of Bigg Boss.

On Bigg Boss Season 6, the celebrity stylist had a few heated spats with presenter Salman Khan. Sapna had made some disparaging words about Salman, to which he replied that the Bigg Boss house was not a holiday and that they had come to win the game.
