Bigg Boss contestants turn 'Supernatural Beings’ on flight BB08

Salman Khan finally opened the gates of the Bigg Boss house…oops…aeroplane amid much fanfare. As the crowds cheered and the television audience witnessed the high voltage drama, twelve contestants boarded Flight BB08 for their incredible journey with Captain Salman Khan. With interesting names like Bollywood actor Upen Patel, Aarya Babbar, Minissha Lamba, Karishma Tanna and Gautam Gulati of Diya Aur Baati Hum fame, the most coveted flight boasted of the celebrities who will now spend their days in front of the cameras 24*7. To enjoy their stay and keep themselves engaged, the passengers decided to play Dumb Charades and put up a ramp show in the evening, without any music. The theme of the fashion show was, ‘Supernatural Beings’ and the contestants were dressed like vampires and zombies. While Aarya Babbar went almost unrecognizable in a knee-length fur coat, Sonali Raut looked scary in the vampire make-up and dracula teeth. The first day was definitely interesting with the participants turning up as vampires for the fashion show.

Despite the discomfort on having to sleep on the airplane seats the whole night, their morning started with the classic ‘Yeh Kahaan Aah Gaye Hum’ which perfectly suited their state of mind. In the absence of a kitchen, the passengers wondered how they’ll get their meals. However, they found meal trays being sent to them for breakfast and lunch, as they started the first day of their flight life. In such a situation, Aarya Babbar thought that a flight is the most romantic place in the world to meet someone, as you’re destined to get to know your co-passenger.

Starting a new twist this season, Bigg Boss has formed a secret society. This 3 member team has the power to control the passengers in Flight BB08. As per this, the passengers will be required to follow the orders of the Secret Society and please them. At the end of the first day, only six passengers received their luggage while the other six were asked to complete a task called ‘Qurbaniyan’ in order to receive their baggage. Even though the journey has just begun, romance has already filled the air. Sparks flew between Upen Patel and Sukirti Kandpal of Hum Ne Li Hai- Shapath fame as they seem to enjoy each other’s company more than that of others. From private conversations to already keeping nick names for each other, (Upen started calling Sukirti ‘Sukku’), looks like these two clearly are heading somewhere. They seem to emerge as the ‘romantic lovebirds’ of this season and may succeed last year’s couples - Kushal Tandon and Gauahar Khan and Armaan Kohli and Tanishaa Mukherji.
