Bigg Boss 19’s Malti Chahar recalls a hilarious childhood memory with brother Deepak Chahar; praises her dad for being supportive
Malti Chahar, who won hearts with her time on reality show Bigg Boss 19, has kept fans hooked through her social media presence. She recently appeared in a YouTube video with Farah Khan for a fun cooking segment. In the vlog, Malti opened up about her Bigg Boss 19 journey, her career in the industry, and much more. What caught a lot of attention was a hilarious childhood memory she shared with her brother Deepak Chahar.
Malti shared, “I wanted to go out into the world because I wanted to be an actor. I also loved writing, but I never told my dad about it. I’ll tell you a story. When I was in 7th or 8th standard, I wrote a song on a piece of paper. I wasn’t allowed to go out much, so I spent most of my time studying. I must have kept the paper on the dressing table, and it probably fell behind. I forgot about it completely.”
She further said, “It was a love song, and the handwriting was really bad, even though my handwriting is usually neat. My mom found it and wondered what it was. My dad thought Deepak had written it because of the handwriting. He asked who wrote it, and I was getting scolded because this kind of thing wasn’t allowed. I still didn’t admit it was mine. My mom always supported me in such things.”
She then revealed how her father always wanted her to become an IPS officer and said, “My dad wanted me to become an IPS officer. Back then, he wasn’t very supportive of my creative interests, but now he is extremely supportive. When I went to Bigg Boss, he would wake up at 8 in the morning and watch the show till 8 or 9 at night. He even called everyone to ask them to vote for me. That’s how sweet he is. Deepak was also very supportive when he came into my life. He worked really hard for me.”
