The struggle and journey to lose weight has not been easy for the seasoned actor. Ram recently appeared on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa's podcast, where he shared that doctors had seriously warned him about his health. They told him that if he didn’t start taking care of himself, he could face life-threatening issues, including the risk of a diabetic stroke.
In the interview, Ram spoke about the health issues he dealt with two years ago. He also admitted that there was a time when he would finish an entire KFC bucket on his own.
Ram said, "When I was shooting Neeyat in Scotland, I was at my worst. I was taking insulin shots thrice a day, before every meal. I was 140 kg, and my sugar was at ridiculous heights. My doctor told me that I’m working so much and I’m so unhealthy, I could have a diabetic stroke. That’s how unhealthy I was. I had to do a transformation, otherwise I would not have long to live.”
On the work front, Ram was seen playing a central role in a web show, 'Mistry'.
