Bigg Boss 19 fame Nehal Chudasama raises her voice against dowry deaths; says, “Society judges women before it protects them”
Nehal Chudasama is known for speaking her mind and doesn't shy away from sharing her opinions. The reality star, who was recently seen in Bigg Boss 19 and The 50, has spoken out strongly against the recent dowry death cases that have shocked the country. Through a heartfelt Instagram statement, Nehal expressed her anger, pain and concern for women silently facing abuse inside their homes.
Speaking about the issue, Nehal wrote, “What happened with Twisha & Deepika and many many others honestly fills me with rage. And it hits even harder because as someone who has experienced physical assault in the past, I know exactly why so many women stay silent. People ask, ‘Why didn’t she speak earlier?’ Because fear changes you. Trauma confuses you. Society judges you before it protects you.”
With these words, Nehal tried to explain why many women stay silent for years and how fear often stops them from speaking openly.
She further added, “The fact that dowry is STILL a reason women are being harassed, abused, tortured or pushed to extremes in 2026 is disgusting.”
Through this, Nehal questioned how society still allows such things to happen despite so much progress and awareness.
Nehal also shared an emotional message for women suffering quietly. She wrote, “Abuse does not begin with bruises. It begins with control, fear, humiliation, manipulation, disrespect and silence.”
She wanted women to understand that emotional pain and fear are serious too and should never be ignored.
Ending her note with a powerful message, Nehal said, “Women do not need sympathy after death. They need protection while they are alive.”
Her statement has connected deeply with many people online and fans are praising her for using her voice to speak about such important issues.
