Bigg Boss 19 contestant Kunickaa Sadanand's son Ayaan calls her relationship with Kumar Sanu “very toxic”
Bigg Boss 19 contestant Kunicka Sadanand's son Ayaan Laal, who made an appearance on weekend ka vaar last week to show his support for her mother, recently reacted to his mother's former relationship with singer Kumar Sanu.
During an interview with Siddharth Kanan, Ayaan opened up about her mother's past relationships, he said, "When I had girlfriends, my mother had boyfriends. Some of them were great husband material, others were great father material."
Reacting to her relationship with singer Kumar Sanu, Ayaan shared, "Jab mummy gaane gaate thi unke… she used to sing his songs, tab lagta tha ek he gaana kyu baar baar gaa rahi hai. Then I would back track and find out oh Kumar Sanu ke songs hai… par she adores him as a singer. Phir Maine jab Google search kiya tab pata chala they were in a relationship.
(When I noticed that she was singing his songs at home all day. I’m just kidding. She still sings his songs). People are saying that the affair lasted 27 years, but what she actually said was that she was 27 years old when it happened. It lasted a few years, and she had me when she was 35."

In the interview, Ayaan went on to describe his mother’s relationship with Kumar Sanu as toxic. "She genuinely loves the artist. She doesn’t love the man anymore, I can promise. Aur meri maa kisi se itna obsessed nahi ho sakti. (And my mother isn’t the obsessive type). It isn’t an ego thing. When I googled him and asked her about him, she said, ‘He was a very important man in my life. I used to look at him as a soulmate, and everyone should experience that kind of love once in their life.' It was very intense and toxic. Very, very toxic," he shared.
The Hum Saath Saath Hain actress had previously appeared in Siddharth Kanan’s interview, where she spoke about the period when she was in a relationship with Kumar Sanu. She said, "We only appeared in public when performing at shows together. I helped select his clothes and managed arrangements for his performances. I was like his wife and considered him like my husband. It felt like a relationship similar to Shakuntala and Dushyant. But later, I discovered things about him that broke my heart."
