Salman Khan has been hosting controversial reality show Bigg Boss since 2010. The legendary star is one of the reasons why the show is a big hit. Every year rumours and news of Salman’s pay cheque comes up. Throughout the years, he has hit the headlines several times for his pay-cheque. Here’s a list of times when the Bollywood star made headlines for his payment for the show.

Salman Khan has once again returned with the highly anticipated reality show Bigg Boss with its 17th season. He hosted the grand premiere on October 15. Salman was in the limelight for his alleged pay cheque. Rumours are that Salman is charging around Rs 12 crores for a weekend which is Rs 6 crores per episode. Ankita Lokhande, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Munawar Faruqui and others are some of the big names of this season.

Last season was the time when Salman Khan was in the news for his Bigg Boss pay cheque more than ever. It was rumoured that he has been charging Rs 1000 crores for the entire season. However, he addressed the same and called the news ‘untrue.’ He said, “All those reports about my fees are untrue. If I ever get paid Rs 1000 crore I would never work in my life. But there will be a day when I will be paid this amount. If I get paid this amount I have so many other expenses like lawyers that I actually need them. My lawyers are no less than Salman Khan. My earning is not even one fourth of it. These reports are read by income tax and ED department too.”

Salman Khan was once again in the headlines for charging a whopping amount to host Bigg Boss 15. According to the reports, he allegedly charged Rs 350 crores for the entire season of Bigg Boss 15. The amount was approximately Rs 25 crore per weekend. However, Salman didn’t address the news this time.

According to a report by GQ, Salman had charged approximately Rs 20 crores per weekend for Bigg Boss 14. The Bollywood superstar shocked many when the news of hai pay-cheques were out. Rubina Dilaik won the 14th season of Bigg Boss.

Season 13 of Bigg Boss is known to be the most popular one of all times. Shehnaaz Gill and late Siddharth Shukla participated saw managed to win hearts of many. According to a report by Mid Day, Salman was paid around Rs 15 crores per episode. Later-actor Siddharth Shukla was the winner of the season
