Barkha Bisht joins Karanvir Sharma and Sudhaa Chandran in Safal Hogi Teri Aradhna

We had previously reported exclusively on Sudhaa Chandran, Karanvir Sharma, and Gauri Salgaonkar being cast in Ravi Raj’s Safal Hogi Teri Aradhna. We have now learnt that Barkha Bisht has been signed on to portray Karanvir’s first wife, Damini.

A source associated with the show informs us, “We wanted an actress with whom the audience could connect easily for the role of Damini, and Barkha is a perfect fit. She will appear in a pivotal cameo that will last approximately two weeks, pushing the storyline forward. Her character, Damini, is a beautiful and graceful woman, married to Madhavdas (played by Karanvir Sharma). Though she seems to have everything in life, she is unable to conceive a child. However, through surrogacy, she finally becomes pregnant. Just when she feels her life is complete, she tragically dies in an accident.”




Barkha, who has been part of several shows such as Kkavyanjali, Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha Ek Shyaam, Doli Saja Ke, Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai, Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi, Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanumaan, Naamkarann, Tenali Rama, Partners Trouble Ho Gayi Double, Shrimaan Shrimati Phir Se, Chandragupta Maurya, Shaadi Mubarak, and was recently seen in Mera Balam Thanedaar.

Safal Hogi Teri Aradhna revolves around the theme of surrogacy. The story follows Aradhna (Gauri Salgaonkar), a skilled sculptor who delivers dabbas to support her family. In a desperate bid to save her grandfather’s life, she agrees to become a surrogate mother for Damini (Barkha Bisht) and Madhavdas (Karanvir Sharma). After Damini’s sudden death, Aradhna gets married to Madhavdas, but is neither accepted by him nor his family. Sudhaa Chandran will portray Menka, Karanvir’s onscreen sister, and the antagonist of the show.

Karanvir was last seen as the male lead in Rabb Se Hai Dua, while Sudhaa’s most recent television appearance was in Doree, which concluded in June 2024.
