Ashlesha Savant on returning to Anupama: I will be back for a few episodes

Ashlesha Savant, whose track in Anupamaa got over in March, is slated to be back on the show. The actress, who has already bagged another show Gudiya Rani as lead, is also shooting for Anupamaa. Ashlesha shared how she will be there for a few episodes. She said, "Our track has been revived for a few episodes as of now. My track in Anupamaa was very good and it was a healthy departure from the show in March. Even now we will be shooting for a few episodes. I don't get attached to any role that I play on a show. Many years ago, when I was working with Surekha Sikriji in the show Saat Phere, she had taught me how it is important to not be attached to any character you essay. The unsettling feeling is good for any actor. She used to often say how actors should not be attached to their make-up vans and sets because every time a project is over, you move on to something else. I enjoy this unsettling lesson that every actor has to learn in their career."

Ask her about her track now in the show and she said, "It will unfold in a few episodes. I am glad that I am back on the show because Barkha was a very glamorous character and no one can forget her."

The actress will be juggling two shows at the same time. She said, "While we will be shooting for Gudiya Rani everyday, we are not required for many days for Anupamaa. It will be just shooting for 2-3 days for Anupamaa. I am happy that I am working after a short break."
