TV star Arjun Bijlani's father-in-law passed away at the age of 73. According to earlier reports, Bijlani, who has been with his wife and son in Dubai for celebrations, flew the whole family back after the news of a family emergency was shared with them.

The actor and his family flew back to Mumbai immediately after the news was shared with them, and Neha Swami’s father’s last rites were performed on January 1. During the funeral procession, Neha Swami and husband Arjun Bijlani were seen paying their respects to Rakesh Chandra Swami. Neha was seen in an emotional state as a video has been shared online showing her running after the ambulance to see her father.Arjun was also seen hugging his son Ayaan and giving him comfort as the last rites were performed for Rakesh Chandra Swami. As per Hindustan Times, a source close to the actor’s family had provided more details about his demise. They had stated, “He was fit and fine, set to have dinner when suddenly he suffered a stroke and was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was on a ventilator.”
