Arjit Taneja’s entry as Dhruv stirs new equations in ‘Dr. Aarambhi’; says 'He’s flamboyant, outspoken, and unapologetically confident'
TV show Dr. Aarambhi is gearing up for a dramatic twist as Arjit Taneja makes a powerful entry. His character will bring charm and mystery that are set to change every relationship. The daily soap starring Aishwarya Khare continues to strike a chord with viewers through its compelling portrayal of a woman fighting to reclaim her identity.
Aarambhi, who is determined to rebuild her life, steps back into the medical world to secure a better future for her son, Vihaan. Arjit Taneja joins the cast as Dhruv, a wealthy businessman and influential investor connected to the very hospital where Vishwas, Avantika, and Aarambhi’s battle for power and respect. His character Dhruv will be seen as a stylish, flamboyant, and brutally honest personality. His arrival is set to stir emotions, challenge loyalties, and spark unexpected dynamics that could change Aarambhi’s journey forever. Will Dhruv become Aarambhi’s biggest obstacle or the catalyst that transforms her life in ways she never imagined?
Stepping into the world of ‘Dr. Aarambhi’, Arjit Taneja shares, “Dhruv, the character I play, is not Aarambhi’s saviour. He doesn’t arrive to rescue her or fix her journey. He has no medical education- he’s the big investor, who walks into a world ruled by medical expertise, rigid hierarchies, and fragile egos. He’s flamboyant, outspoken, and unapologetically confident, but beneath that surface, he’s constantly observing, questioning, and challenging the authority that people believe they have. Aarambhi and Dhruv are radically different - in their values, their approaches, and the way they view power. That difference creates friction from the very beginning. With Dhruv’s entry, the power dynamics within the hospital begin to shift, equations start cracking, and characters who are used to being in control are forced to confront uncomfortable truths. That disruption is what excites me the most as an actor. And I think audiences will be gripped watching him tip the balance of power and pushes every character to rethink their fundamentals.”
