From the television celebrities becoming parents for the first time to the interesting twists that Bigg Boss 14 is taking with its finale right around the corner, there’s a lot that the audience needs to catch up on. After a journey full of ups and downs, Nikki Tamboli finally entered the finale week of Bigg Boss 14 becoming the first finalist of the season. This happened when Rubina Dilaik won the Ticket To Finale task and picked Nikki as the one fellow contestant she would like to save from nominations and allow to enter in the finale week by Bigg Boss, in one of the latest episodes.

Naagin fame Anita Hassanandani and hubby Rohit Reddy were blessed with a baby boy on the night of February 9. Rohit took to his Instagram account and announced the good news with lovely pictures. Later, friends and the television fraternity congratulated the couple and showered their blessings and love with their good wishes.

Abhinav Shukla got evicted from Bigg Boss 14, a week ahead of the finale. The actor got a majority i.e. three out of a total of seven votes from the contestant’s connections and further exited the show. Jasmin Bhasin, Vindu Dara Singh and Jaan Kumar Sanu were the ones who had voted for him.

Ishqbaaz fame Nakuul Mehta and wife Jankee Parekh who were expecting their first baby were blessed with a baby boy on February 3. The actor took to social media and announced the happy moment with a cute picture later on February 6. Nakuul shared Nakuul shared a glimpse of the little one’s hand holding their fingers. The actor wrote, “February 3, 2021. This is ���� Grateful and sleepy in equal measure. *Ing: @jank_ee & ������”

Bigg Boss 14’s Vikas Gupta who has been accused of sexual assault by Priyank Sharma, Parth Samthaan and at recent by Vikas Khoker took to his Instagram and warned them of filing a defamation case. The television personality shared a video with a long note and said that he would be filing a case against Khoker. Meanwhile, he asked Priyank and Parth to issue an apology by the next day or else they will have to fight a legal battle with him.

Popular TV actor Mohan Kapur recently fell prey to fake death rumours after some reports claimed his demise out of confusion. Later, the actor took to his social media and quashed all the rumours with a Tweet. Informing about his good health, Mohan wrote, “Hello Everybody, this is to put it out here that I am safe & well. The recent news of a person's passing, with whom I share my name, is really very sad. I pray for his family & loved ones to cope with this terrible loss as I also pray for his soul to rest in peace.”

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame, Lataa Saberwaal recently took to her social media and announced that she is taking a break from daily soaps with a short note. Taking on to her Instagram account she wrote, “Announcing it formally that I am quitting daily soaps though I am open for, web, movies or a great cameo “THANK YOU DAILY SOAPS FOR BEING AN INTEGRAL PART OF MY LIFE.”

Talking to BT about her decision, the actress said, “I am done with the typical daily soaps, where every day we go and churn content. Now if it is a 5-6 days project, I am okay with it, along with Bollywood projects. That would surely mean that I will have to accept a pay cut since I won’t be regular, but that is okay.”

Marriage is soon on the cards of Bigg Boss 14’s Rahul Vaidya and girlfriend Disha Parmar. The singer who had proposed to Disha on national television will soon be tying the knot with her and reports suggest that the wedding bells will ring in June this year. It looks like the preparations have already begun and both Disha and Rahul’s family await his win and exit to start going about the wedding. Speaking about it to ETimes TV, Rahul’s sister Shruti said, “Preparations toh aisi hai ki baarat toh tayaar hai bus dulhe raja ka intezaar hai. So, yes we all are very excited and we have done a few arrangements. We have started planning about things which are done at home, but the final call and all the decisions will be taken once, dulhe raja (Rahul) comes home. Disha and we all are waiting for him to come home winning the trophy and that will commence his wedding preparations.”

Meanwhile, Disha who would be entering BB14 for the Valentine's Day special episode said, “I am wishing and hoping that Rahul wins Bigg Boss 14 and comes home with the trophy, and remaining everything else we will discuss later.”

Choti Sardarni’s Anita Raaj, who was friends with actor-producer Rajiv Kapoor was shattered when he passed away on February 9 after suffering from a severe cardiac arrest. The actress broke down while speaking about Rajiv’s demise with ETimes TV and said, “I am in shock. I really have no words to describe the pain. Apart from working together, I have known him when we were kids. I can’t believe he is no more. I used to speak to him often. While doing this show (Choti Sardarni), he used to love it and would tell me ‘Tinni you are doing such a wonderful job. I just can’t…”

Anita added, “He was so close to my husband and my son. He was a family and I have lost him. I really lost him. I am sorry…”

Actor Harsh Rajput who just made a comeback post the lockdown with Ekta Kapoor’s Kuch To Hai recently spoke with ETimes TV in its special Tellyblazer segment. The actor opened up about his journey and struggles in the industry and doing bold scenes on TV. Talking about the number of rejections that he has faced, Harsh said, “The amount of rejections I've seen, I feel the ratio of acceptance in my career has been less. I've seen a time when I would go for auditions and 90 percent of the time I would be rejected. I don't feel anyone's is at fault because it is not possible for you to be at the right place, right time everytime. I have done around 92 ads in my career but for bagging those 92 ads I have given some 5000 auditions.”
