Amitabh Bachchan is back on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 after battling coronavirus; pics of him following safety precautions

Amitabh Bachchan is ready to start shooting for the upcoming season of the popular quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). The actor took to his blog to reveal that he is preparing to resume shoot for the TV show, saying maximum safety precautions will be taken. In the past few days, he has shared several pictures from the sets and gave a glimpse of how he is shooting following safety precautions. Here’s a look:

In July, Amitabh Bachchan along with son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai and granddaughter Aradhya had tested positive for Covid-19. After a long stay at the hospital, they were discharged and stayed put at home for full recovery. The actor was back on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 last week.

In his blog, Big B wrote about how he is shooting amid the pandemic. He shared, “Lots of prep and presentation for the starting of KBC promo shoots and the KBC itself … detailed protocol of how it's all going to be done with maximum safety precautions," adding: "Life shall never be the same again .. perhaps... or how we conduct ourselves in these times of pandemic.”

Shooting in the times of pandemic and after fighting coronavirus has been quite an experience for the senior actor. Describing the sets he wrote, “It’s a sea of limited BLUE on set .. quiet .. conscious .. each delegated work routine .. precautions , systems , distanced masks , sanitised and the apprehensions of not just what shall happen to the show .. but what shall the World look like after this dread Vid19 ... getting in front of the cameras again .. was it weird , different feel after this long furlough .. dunno .. .. there is a loss of camaraderie .. no one speaks unless its work related .. its like a laboratory where some rather deep scientific experiments abound.”

Big B poured his heart out sharing his shooting experience on his blog. He wrote, “This was never expected .. never the time to see such visuals .. but there it is ... recognised faces now unrecognisable .. and the doubts whether we are in the right place , with the right people .. but .. we muster up the fears and be on ... there is great consideration and care being extended .. all precautions carefully worked out and followed ... precautions were there earlier too in times of distress .. but this time its severe .. it's personal .. this time they know its fatality, God forbid .. and that lingers .. the lightheartedness has sealed itself .. isolated .. do the do and leave.”

Amitabh Bachchan has his own entry gate and that actor shared pics of the same. Going through a fumigating gate to wearing mask while shooting, the entire cast and crew is making sure of the actor and his surrounding’s safety.

Totally following the no-handshake rule, Big B gives a glimpse of doing elbow shake with a crew member. He has shared his thoughts on resumption of shooting along with pictures from the set, stressing that the show is being shot with due precautions, safety measures and social distancing. "The notice of extreme discipline in the execution of work is astonishing ... as I said last night the ‘fear' of the possibility pushes all into one large cubicle where the uncertainty of the outcome is unknown ... BUT … whenever did life not have uncertainty," Big B wrote on his blog.

You can see Big B seated on the hot-seat and doing a mock shoot with a green screen in the background. The actor has been diligently prepping up for the upcoming season.

The actor can be seen getting ready as he poses with his hot-seat. He wrote in his blog, “It has begun ... the chair the atmosphere the KBC 12 .. started year 2000 .. today year 2020 .. unimaginable that the years have passed .. that the show has lasted .. that the nerves are back.”
