Amit Behl's CINTAA nomination accepted amidst legal drama; the battle has just begun
In a dramatic twist, Amit Behl's nomination for the Executive Committee of CINTAA is accepted, marking a crucial victory in his battle for inclusion. However, as the election date is a day away, a new hurdle emerges: the delayed issuance of his candidate number, a blatant violation of the City Civil Court's orders. This last-minute obstacle leaves Behl with little time to rally support among the members.
Undeterred, Behl expresses his unwavering trust in the Indian judiciary, emphasizing, "I have full confidence in the judiciary of India. The Honorable Courts will recognize the selective discrimination and the attempt to silence me. I have full confidence in my fellow actors. I have been working for the welfare of CINTAA for the last nine years and it is an honour to serve my fellow members. Justice will prevail. Jai Hind."
Meanwhile, the courtroom saga continues as the Election Committee challenges the City Civil Court's decision. Despite their efforts, the Hon'ble Bombay High Court refused to stay the order, affirming Behl's rightful place on the ballot.
Commenting on the ruling, Behl's legal team, led by Adv. Nachiket Kulkarni and Adv. Dheeraj Dhutmal, asserts, "The Order of City Civil Court, upheld by Hon'ble Bombay High Court clearly goes to show that the reasoning given by Election Committee to reject Amit Ji's nomination was vague and futile. His nomination is valid and restored, making him eligible to contest the elections of CINTAA. The decisions of the Election Committee should be unbiased and in accordance with the constitution of CINTAA. Although the delay caused and losses suffered by Mr. Amit Behl cannot be recovered, but his battle for justice was appreciable. He has set an example in the film industry. We wish him luck and success!"
With justice finally served, Amit Behl emerges as a symbol of resilience and determination, poised to lead CINTAA into a new era despite the challenges that lie ahead.
