Akash, who has been part of shows like Sasural Simar Ka 2 and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai feels that sometimes it is tough to get good roles. He was last seen in the show Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatni, which ended in 2023 and since then he had been waiting for a meaty role. He had previously shared, "Now I just want to do lead roles so obviously the opportunity is limited at the moment. I had been approached for doing character roles in many good reputed shows, but again I am not ready to do the same.”
