Adish Vaidya joins the cast of Jhanak
Actor Adish Vaidya, who is currently seen in Pushpa Impossible, is all set to enter the television show Jhanak. The actor will be essaying the role of Ankush, a character described as positive yet mysterious, with a layered past and an intriguing connection to the lead couple.
Speaking about his role, Adish shares that Ankush is not what he appears to be on the surface. “He is a very positive character, but there’s mystery attached to him. As the story unfolds, viewers will realise that he has a motive and an agenda. Whether that makes him negative or genuinely positive is something the audience will discover gradually,” he says. “The character will start off on a positive note and may turn grave as the track progresses. That suspense is the core of Ankush.”
Jhanak is inspired by the Bengali series Jol Nupur and originally featured Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja in the lead roles.
On the professional front, Adish has an extensive body of work across Marathi and Hindi entertainment industries. He began his acting journey with an episodic role in the Marathi show Jayostute and went on to feature in popular Marathi series such as Ratris Khel Chale, Zindagi Not Out, Kunku Tikali Ani Tattoo and Aai Ani Baba Retire Hot Aahet.
