'Today’ show host Savannah Guthrie’s mother Nancy Guthrie possibly kidnapped, reported missing over the weekend

TV personality, journalist, and former attorney Savannah Guthrie’s mother was reported missing during the weekend. The star reported that her mother, Nancy Guthrie, who is 84, was last seen in her home on January 31 in Catalina Foothills, north of Tucson, Arizona. As per the latest reports, the investigation is ongoing, and Nancy’s home is being investigated as a crime scene.

The statement further added that, “At this point, investigators believe she was taken from the home against her will, possibly in the middle of the night. Taken against her will includes possible kidnapping or abduction.” The sheriff of the county further added that “We know, at least we believe, and I believe we know, she did not walk out of that home on her own.”

Savannah Guthrie’s mother reported missing
According to a statement shared by People, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance is being heavily investigated, and the police believe that a crime has taken place. She was last seen around 9:30 PM in her home in Arizona, after which no one has been able to get in contact with her.Possible abduction suspected
In the statement, it was also shared that while Guthrie’s physical mobility was limited, she was self aware and strong. “Here you have this lady who's got all her wits about her, she knows what's going on. So yeah, somebody came into that home, and I believe took her out there without her permission.
