Almost a week has passed since Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy Guthire was reported missing. Now the FBI has acknowledged a new message related to the disappearance of the 84-year-old.The authorities have revealed that they are aware of a “new message” in the case and have restricted access to Nancy Guthrie’s property, which was also concluded as a “crime scene.” In a statement to PEOPLE on Friday, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department said, "The FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department are aware of a new message regarding Nancy Guthrie.” The authorities also added that the message is being thoroughly investigated: “Investigators are actively inspecting the information provided in the message for its authenticity.” The officials also provided contact numbers in case of any clues related to the clues, and also mentioned the reward money of up to USD 50,000. “While this is one new piece of information, the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department are still asking anyone with tips to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI. The FBI continues to offer a reward of up to USD 50,000 for information leading to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.”Meanwhile, access to Nancy Guthrie’s house has been restricted. The Pima County Sheriff's Office said in a post on X that investigators were conducting a follow-up at the Guthrie home and in the surrounding area, and that the roadway in front of the home is currently restricted.“Nobody on foot can pass the cones," a sergeant at the scene told, before adding, "We need everyone out right now. This is for further investigation.”Nancy Guthrie was reported missing on Sunday, February 1, by her family when she failed to show up at church. US president Donald Trump also expressed concern over Savannah Guthrie’s mother’s disappearance, calling the situation “terrible.” Trump also said he has asked authorities to deploy all resources to get Savannah Guthrie’s mother home safely.
