The 17th season of MasterChef Australia is bringing back fan-favorite contestants for another shot at the prestigious title. From Indian-origin chef Depinder Chhibber to two-time runner-up Laura Sharrad, this season features a mix of past contestants eager to showcase their growth, skills, and passion. With a lineup spanning multiple seasons, these culinary stars are ready to take on new challenges under the guidance of esteemed judges Andy Allen, Poh Ling-Yeow, Jean-Christophe Novelli, and Sofia Levin.

Depinder, Beau, and Alana

Depinder Chhibber, a beloved contestant from MasterChef Australia 13, has since launched Ghar, an Indian-style home dining experience. Alana Lowes, who made waves in Season 3, built a successful career as a food, travel, and lifestyle presenter. Meanwhile, Beau Cook from Season 4 pursued firefighting but never abandoned his passion for food, continuing to refine his culinary skills.

Ben, Darrsh, and Snez

Season 6’s Ben Macdonald operates a café, a bistro, and a fresh pasta delivery business in Auckland. Fresh off MasterChef Australia 16, Darrsh Clarke is back-to-back for another shot at the title.
