Leah Remini looks back on lasting bond with Jennifer Lopez during divorce experiences

Leah Remini and Jennifer Lopez remain each other's supports during the ups and downs in life. In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Remini, 54, spoke candidly about her close relationship with longtime best friend Lopez, 55, sharing the emotional support they've shared through tough times — particularly during their individual divorces."Immediately after the divorce, we would text one another sweet messages of support," Remini explained. "You don't necessarily talk to people daily like you would before, but that's not to say the love has faded. Friendships come and go. That doesn't mean we're in conflict."Although Remini did not indicate whether she was talking about Lopez's latest breakup with Ben Affleck or her own marriage issues, the tone is a testament to the long-standing relationship the two share.Remini also got divorced from Angelo Pagán in August 2024 after 21 years of marriage. They settled their divorce two months later in October. They have a daughter, Sofia Bella Pagán, who is 20 years old.Speaking openly of why the couple broke up, Remini confessed that incompatible emotional needs caused the relationship to end. "When you're doing what you do in a relationship but it's not what they want, it's like, 'So you don't like what I'm doing? Well, I don't like what you're doing because that's not what I desire,'" she said. She also stated that she's not interested in dating at the moment and is concentrating on healing and self-improvement.Jennifer Lopez has experienced her own share of personal turmoil as well.
