At the heart of Housefull 5 is a classic case of mistaken identity — with a lavish twist. The plot unfolds on a luxury yacht, where a billionaire, celebrating his 100th birthday, announces a jaw-dropping inheritance of £69 billion to his beloved “Jolly.” But the celebration quickly descends into chaos as three men—Jalaluddin (Riteish Deshmukh), Jalbhushan (Abhishek Bachchan), and Julius (Akshay Kumar)—step forward, each claiming to be the rightful heir.

'Housefull 5' director Tarun Mansukhani recalls all the fun while filming 'Laal Pari'
Tarun Mansukhani, director of the much-awaited sequel "Housefull 5", opened up about helming a multi-starrer project. Looking back at his experience of shooting the "Laal Pari" track, the filmmaker said that it was "so much fun."
"Wherever I would pan the camera, there was a star performing," he recalled.
"Laal Pari", which has been shot on a big scale, brings a fun and vibrant energy to the screen. Mansukhani, while sharing his experience, said, “Shooting the song was so much fun. Wherever I would pan the camera, there was a star performing. We had so much fun that our energy has translated into the song. I am glad that the audience is vibing with it and showing it so much love.”
Opening up about the process of filming a multi-starrer, Mansukhani shared, “It wasn’t difficult working with such big stars, even though I had never collaborated with them before. I’m truly thankful to my producer for having faith in me and trusting me with a project of this scale. We wrapped the film in record time, and that wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of the actors. At no point did I feel like things were beyond my control.”

Speaking of her co-singer Neeraj Sridhar, Shruti added, “To sing with Neeraj Sridhar, someone whose music shaped my childhood, is legendary. And collaborating with Sachin-Jigar and the White Noise Collective it’s been massive.”
In the song, Shruti has given her voice to all three leading ladies in the film - Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and Sonam Bajwa. “I genuinely thought there’d be different singers for the three heroines. But I’m so proud they chose one voice and that voice being mine is something I’ll always cherish", Shruti went on to reveal.

Akshay took to Instagram, where he shared a video featuring candid and yet jovial moments he spent with Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Dino Morea, Nargis Fakhri, Jacquline Fernandez and Sonam Bajwa in between shoots.
