Law & Order' Reunion: Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler meet again in emotional Season 5 premiere

As the debut of Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 5 approaches, fans of the franchise's most legendary pair — Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler — can rejoice. In an exclusive interview last summer, Meloni told PEOPLE that he was writing episode 2 — the very episode featuring Hargitay. “I know [Olivia] Benson will be with OC for a moment,” he teased. “I’m going to have an opportunity to… hopefully, uncover, peel away a little bit more of the onion or uncover a little more depth of feeling between them.”
