Veteran actor Debshankar Haldar to celebrate ‘Poila Boisakh’ on TV

Veteran theatre actor Debshankar Haldar is all set to celebrate Bengali New Year with the popular actors of television and other celebrities. The ‘Alik Sukh’ actor will host a special show where the celebs will be seen celebrating ‘Poila Boisakh’ together. Debshankar has previously hosted a show titled ‘Happy Parents Day’ which was very successful. Keeping the popularity of the show in mind, the channel had requested the busy theatre actor to host this special show. In this soon to be aired show, the popular actors will celebrate the eve by sharing memories from their childhood about ‘Poila Boisakh’. Actress Shreyosree Roy aka ‘Bhanu’ of serial ‘Bhanumatir Khel’ and Rubel Das, who plays the character of ‘Meghraj’, son of ‘Jadu Samrat Mahendra Sarkar’ will also appear on this episode. According to the reports, the show will be a mix of music, dance and ‘adda’. Actress Indrani Haldar, who is presently doing the serial ‘Seema Rekha’, will also be seen in this special show. Soumili Biswas, who will be soon seen in the upcoming new serial ‘Jai Baba Loknath’, will also grace the show. Other popular faces of television will also appear in this episode.Popular singer Lopamudra Mitra will take the audience for a musical journey. She too shared her memories of ‘Nababarsha’ with Debshankar. The shooting for this special show has recently been finished. We hear that the actors had a gala time while shooting for the special episode.
