Sweta Bhattacharya-Honey Bafna starrer ‘Sohag Jol’ to end soon

After ‘Balijhor’, ‘Meyebela’, ‘Mithai’, yet another show is going to end soon. Tolly Para is abuzz with the rumours that Sweta Bhattacharya and Honey Bafna starrer ‘Sohag Jol’ is the latest one to join the club. Sources suggest, the show is going to end its journey and the team is likely to shoot for the climax episode next week.
‘Sohag Jol’ started its journey in last year December.Sweta-Honey’s pairing, a strong cast and the storyline set hopes quite high. But the daily soap couldn’t score well in terms of TRP. The story initially started with protagonists Shubhro and Jui, who get married following the destiny. But Shubhro doesn’t really love her and has fondness for another woman. The duo starts their life as a married couple knowing the harsh truth and decides to part ways a year. In the meanwhile, Jui becomes close to Shubhro’s family. Her in-laws also become affectionate towards their bahu who protects the family like a shield. Eventually, Shubhro too realises Jui’s importance and falls in love with her. The story however took a different turn with antagonist Beni’s presence. She is a widow, who tries to manipulate much married Shubhro. High octane drama clubbed with the track of an extra-marital affair in the story drew criticism from a section of the audience, too.
Eventually, Sohag Jol started lagging in terms of TRP and now, the makers have decided to pull it off. Within 8 months of its launch, ‘Sohag Jol’ is likely to end.
