Roshnai: Aranyak asks Roshnai to shift to Garima’a house

‘Roshnai’ is currently tackling the growing tension between Aranyak, Roshnai, and Garima. As per the current track of the Bengali television show, Roshnai is still trying to gel with the members of the Chatterjee family after relocating to Kolkata from Banaras, post her mother’s demise. As Roshnai’s mother passed away, Aranyak brought Roshnai to Kolkata to save her from Rajesh’s clasp. But most of Aranyak’s family members anything but welcoming toward Roshnai. Aranyak encourages Roshnai to study further so that she can stand on her own feet. However, the rest of the members of Chatterjee family treat her like a maid. Roshnai is insulted and humiliated at every step of the way. On the other hand, Garima, Aranyak’s girlfriend, has her own issues with Roshnai. During the Laxmi Puja, Garima finds an expensive saree and a container full of vermillion from Roshnai’s bag which causes a great stir in front of the whole family. Aranyak decides he will send Roshnai to Garima’s place to avoid further complications in their relationship. Garima informs her mother about this decision of bringing Roshnai home and Surangama advises Garima to stay careful of Roshnai.

On the other hand, Aranyak is extremely irritated with everything happening around him and all his anger falls upon Roshnai. His behaviour toward Roshnai gets worse with each passing hour. Aranyak finally informs Roshnai that she has to shift to Garima’s place after her birthday celebration at the Chatterjee Bari. Roshnai is shocked at Aranyak’s decision but doesn’t protest against it. What fate awaits Roshnai now?

‘Roshnai’, helmed by writer, director and producer Leena Gangopadhyay and directed by Saibal Banerjee, stars actress Anushka Goswami in the titular role. The story of the show revolves around a dancing protégé living in Banaras. Roshnai inherits her talent in dancing from her mother Sudarshana. Sean Banerjee plays the character of the male protagonist, Aranyak, in ‘Roshnai’. Sean is one of the most popular heroes on Bengali television. The model-turned-actor rose to fame with his portrayal of Dr Ujaan Chattrjee in the romantic medical drama series ‘Ekhane Aakash Neel’. ‘Roshnai’ stars Kamalika Banerjee, Reshmi Sen, Ushasie Chakraborty, Sudip Mukherjee, Lekha Chatterjee, Tathagata Mukherjee among other characters.
