Raima Sen, Laboni Sarkar and Vikram Chatterjee starrer ‘Roktokorobi’ to narrate a mystery thriller

Sahana Dutta is ready to take the audience on a new journey with her upcoming web series ‘Roktokorobi’. It has a promising cast that includes Raima Sen, Laboni Sarkar, Rooqma Ray, Angana Roy, Priyanka Bhattacharjee, Shaantilal Mukherjee, Rohit Samanta, Bhaswar Chatterjee and others. It’s a mystery thriller revolving around the secrets of the Mukherjee household and its members.
In its 11 episodes, ‘Roktokorobi’ will slowly unfold the drama and mystery inside the big walls of Mukherjee bari as well as its members, who have kept some secrets deeply buried inside their hearts.Raima, who will play the role of a simple housewife in the series, says, “Roktokorobi is a blend of family drama and thriller. Both genres are hugely popular among the audience. Sahana Di has beautifully weaved both in Roktokorobi’s tale, where I play a simple housewife, who helps her brother-in-law solve some mysteries.”
Vikram is playing the character Satyaki, a psychiatrist in the series, and the actor is all excited about his new OTT venture. “I am playing a psychiatrist whose very first patient dies by suicide and the traumatic experience haunts him. He comes to his ancestral house to take a break but things don’t turn out as simple as he thought. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience while shooting and I am sure that the experience would love the tale that has mystery in its every layer,” he adds.
Notably, prior to this Vikram’s performance in ‘Pobitro Puppies’ and ‘Rudrabinar Abhishaap’ earned praise from the audience. Now, he is ready to entertain the viewers in a brand new avatar. Rooqma is paired opposite Vikram as a reel pair.
The multi-starrer project will also feature young actress Angana Roy, who is making her presence in Tollywood with her performance. She says, “I am essaying Satyaki’s sister. The duo shares a very good rapport and tries to crack some mystery together. It has been an amazing experience to work with the team.”
