Rumours suggest the presence of a model-turned-actress in Tathagata's life is the reason behind the separation. When ETimes TV contacted the actress, she confirmed the news of separation. “Yes it’s true. But I have always tried to keep my personal life away from the public glare and would like to do so. Whatever happened between me and Tathagata, I will never make it public. I hope people will respect my privacy,” said the actress. The couple has been together for 8 years. “Two people, who have been good friends earlier, might not be able to continue their journey. Time is a very crucial thing. Those who can’t look eye to eye might become friends after 10 years and the opposite thing can happen too. We can’t handle things. But whatever happens, I would like to keep our life private.
