'Kanyadaan' crosses 100 episodes; team celebrates

Team ‘Kanyadaan’ is in a joyous mood. The show has completed 100 episodes. The entire cast and crew had a small celebration on the sets of ‘Kanyadaan’ and had a gala time. To make the occasion even more special, the team had a small cake cutting ceremony as well. The shooting set was high on energy as the team celebrated their milestone.
The show has a strong cast that includes veteran actors like Arindam Ganguly, Manasi Sinha and others.Priya Malakar is playing Arindam’s daughter in the show. The storyline of ‘Kanyadaan’ revolves around a father who is a man of principle. He has five beautiful daughters and now trying to get them married. But being the father of a grown-up girl isn’t easy, especially in a male dominated society. In fact, even after marriage of his daughter, the responsibility of a father isn’t finished. He guards his daughter from every possible hurdle no matter what.
Strong performance and a crisp narration, helped the show become popular within a short span of time. The show beautifully captures the bond of father and daughter.
‘Aloukik Na Loukik’ actor Ridhish Chowdhury is playing a meaty role in this show. His reel character has negative shades. Arindam too was seen in Prosenjit Chatterjee starrer ‘Aloukik Na Loukik’. He played the reel dad of protagonist Bikram (played by Ridhish).
