Jeet Gannguli and Palak Muchhal give their voices for the title track of new show ‘Sohag Chand’
Singer, music composer Jeet Gannguli has a special musical treat for the television audience. The ace musician who has given several hit songs both in Tollywood and Bollywood has composed the title track of upcoming Bengali daily soap ‘Sohag Chand’. He teamed up with singer Palak Muchhal, for the title song. The duo performed the duet song which was recorded in a music studio in Mumbai. This is not the first time Jeet has teamed up with Palak. He has worked with the popular singer, who recently got married, in 'Aashiqui 2' and other movies. Palak and Shaan sang the title song of daily soap 'Nabab Nadini' too.
The peppy music and catchy lyrics have already caught the attention of Bengali viewers.
The upcoming daily soap will feature actor Abhishek Veer Sharma as the male lead. The actor, who made his debut in Bengali television with ‘Saraswatir Prem’ and recently did TV show ‘Mou Er Bari’ will play a happy go lucky guy. Actress Anwesha Chakraborty, on the other hand plays the female lead in ‘Sohag Chand’. The very first glimpse of the TV serial, which promises to narrate ‘Ojondar Premer Golpo’, made quite a buzz with its subject line. The show will talk about body positivity. Now, the recently released title track is making the right kind of noise too.
Notably, this is not the first time Jeet has composed the title track of a Bengali daily soap. He has composed music for ‘Ekhane Akash Neel’, ‘Durga’, ‘Maa... Tomay Chara Ghum Asena’, ‘Mahapeeth Tarapeeth’, ‘Om Namah Shivay’ to name a few. Among these are the title songs of ‘Maa.. Tomay Chara Ghum Asena’ and first season of ‘Ekhane Akash Neel’ were instant hits prompting fans to use those as mobile phone tunes too. The popular musician, who has worked with many big banners from Bollywood, has composed title tracks of Hindi TV shows and jingles of ad commercials too.
