Popular Bengali television actor Ronen's death is still a mystery to many. In 2015, his lifeless body was reportedly recovered from a lake near his residence. According to police, Ronen went to swim in the nearby water body after hitting the gym. Allegedly, two of his friends were also accompanying him. When Ronen didn’t come out, they informed his dad. Later, local police were informed. Ronnie’s family claimed he was a trained swimmer. The incident left his colleagues as well as his admirers deeply saddened. In 2018, Bengali TV and film actress Payel was found dead at a Siliguri hotel. Preliminary investigations suggest that the actress, who is from Netaji Nagar, Kolkata, died by suicide. Payel has played small roles in many television serials and movies. She was also seen in ‘Ek masher Sahitya Series’, 'Chokher Tara Tui' and 'Goenda Ginni'. ‘Saat Bhai Champa’ was her last show. 23-year-old Subarna’s death in 2020 left many shocked. Subarna’s parents reportedly found her body hanging from the ceiling fan. She was rushed to the nearby hospital where she was declared dead by the doctors. The young actress was last seen in the TV show ‘Mayurpankhi’, playing the role of the protagonist’s friend. Puja, was reportedly found dead in her South Kolkata residence. She allegedly had a fight with her friend and locked herself inside the room. Puja’s friend contacted police when she didn’t open the door despite several calls. Cops found her lifeless body.
