Sourav Ganguly-hosted show ‘Dadagiri Unlimited’ is going to have its season finale this weekend. The 8th season of the show has been quite successful and fared well on the TRP charts. The season finale will be a gala event and feature performances by band Chandrabindu and Bandage. Singers Anupam Roy, Rupankar Bagchi, Somlata, Monomoy, Iman Chakraborty, Raghab Chatterjee will perform in the finale episode. Biswanath Basu, Kanchan Mallick, Monami Ghosh, Shonali Chowdhury and Iman will also be present to support the contestants who will represent 5 districts. Host Sourav became quite emotional during the shoot as the season came to an end.

Bengali television show ‘Joy Baba Lokenath’, which was launched in 2018, concluded its journey recently. Aranya Roy Choudhury played the young avatar of Lokenath, while Bhaswar Chatterjee played the titular role later. Initially, actor Souptic Chakraborty was roped in by the makers. But he had to leave the show due to some health issues. Soon Bhaswar joined the show. The show started scoring well soon after its launch. Child actor Aranya and his natural acting skill made him a household name almost overnight. Bhaswar played the role quite convincingly and earned praises. Eminent writer Sasthipada Chattopadhyay’s very popular series has been adapted for the TV show ‘Pandab Goenda’. The show was launched this week. Five teenagers and their 4-legged friends will take the audience to new adventures. The show will star a young and fresh cast which includes Rob Dey, Sreetama Mitra, Anumita Dutta, Rishabh Chakraborty and Mayukh Chatterjee.

Fantasy-drama ‘Beder Meye Jyotsna’, starring Shreema Bhattacharya and Arka Jyoti Paul Chaudhury, in the lead, has completed 500 episodes. Actress Monalisa Paul plays a negative role in this show.
