Tele Academy Awards 2022, organised by Govt of West Bengal, honoured artists from the small screen Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and some other eminent guests attended the award ceremony at Netaji Indoor Stadium on Thursday. Soumitra Chatterjee, one of the finest actors of India, whom we lost in 2020 due to COVID-related issues, will always be remembered for his immense contribution as an actor, director, poet, playwright. At Tele Academy Awards 2022, he was honoured with posthumous award.

Aindrila, who defeated cancer for the second time and set an example for many with her fighting spirit. When she was diagnosed with cancer for the second time, her show ‘Jiyon Kathi’ was on-air. Aindrila resumed shoot as soon as she was discharged from the hospital. Later, she underwent a long treatment for cancer. After almost a year, she faced the camera again and shot for ‘Didi No. 1’. Aindrila received an award for ‘Exceptional Comeback’ at Tele Academy Awards 2022. As she received the award from CM Mamata Banerjee, her parents couldn’t be any prouder. (Photo: Instagram)
