Chandni Saha bags a new project

From debut television project ‘Bindi’, mythological show ‘Manasa’ to her latest project ‘Jamuna Dhaki’, Bengali viewers have seen actress Chandni Saha playing different characters on the small screen. Be it an innocent village belle, courageous girl fighting for her rights to Maa Manasa’s role in a popular mythological show, Chandni managed to connect to the audience with her performance in the characters she had played in different TV serials.Soon, she will appear on an upcoming TV show which will feature her in a completely different character. Chandni will essay Malati’s character in the upcoming show ‘Madhabilata’.
According to the story, Malati is the elder sister of protagonist Madhabi. They live in a rural area and are quite close to the mother nature. The show will narrate the story of a rural surrounded by acres of greenery. A rich and influential businessman is eyeing the area for his own interest and demolishing the trees. Protagonist Madhabilata and her family protest against it risking their lives.
In the upcoming, Chandni will be seen sporting an interesting look as Village belle Malati. From her outfits to simple make-up everything has been conceptualised keeping the rustic background in mind.
Prior to this, Chandni was seen playing a prominent role in TV show ‘Jamuna Dhaki’, which was produced by Snehasish Chakraborty who is also producing ‘Madhabilata’. The promo was shot at the beautiful locations of rural Bengal. The cast and crew are currently busy shooting for the initial sequences at Purulia and adjacent areas.
Actress Shrabani Bhunia will essay Madhabilata’s character while Sushmit Mukherjee has been roped in by the makers for the male lead.
