Aurra Bhatnagar and Pravisht Mishra starrer Hindi television show ‘Barrister Babu’ is soon going to be dubbed in Bengali. Team ‘Barrister Babu’ is indeed happy with the latest update. Interestingly, the Hindi show features actress Pallavi Mukherjee who is from Kolkata. She is playing the character Sampoorna in the show. The actress is elated that her show will be dubbed in her mother tongue now.

“During the lockdown, I had heard a lot of channels are airing dubbed shows and I thought it would be really great if Barrister Babu gets dubbed in Bengali. When I heard that the show will be aired on Bengali television, I was really really happy. The show beautifully narrates Bengali culture. I am sure Bengali viewers will enjoy it very much,” says Pallavi. The original show was launched in February 2020.
The actress, who is in Mumbai now for her show, started her career with Bengali television shows. “I participated in Mirakkel. TV show Meera was my first non-fiction show. It was a very popular television show. Currently, I’m busy with the shoot of Barrister Babu. I am thoroughly enjoying the experience,” she added.
Period-drama Barrister Babu narrates the journey of a little girl named Bondita. She is married to a 60-year-old man. But her life takes a sudden tragic turn when her husband dies. While she falls prey to social injustice, fate leads her to Anirudh, a London-return Barrister who wishes to liberalise women. He wants women to be free from cultural stereotypes. As Anirudh pledges to fight against the age-old norms and help Bondita find her identity, he unfolds a pathway for her to become a Barrister.
