Actress Ushasie Chakraborty completes her PhD from Jadavpur University

Bengali actress Ushasie Chakraborty, who is currently a part of the popular TV show ‘Sreemoyee’, has completed her PhD. Ushasie received her doctorate degree from Jadavpur University. It was an emotional moment for the actress as her father Shyamal Chakraborty always encouraged her to pursue higher studies. Ushasie lost her dad last year in August and the day she received the degree 2021, on her dad’s death anniversary. She called it ‘a piece of magic realism’. Ushasi got emotional and poured her heart out on a long social media post.She worked hard to strike a balance between acting career and research work.
