Actress Oindrila Bose joins the cast of ‘Guddi’

TV show ‘Guddi’, which started its journey with the story of a bubbly girl lives in a hill station and DIG Anuj Chatterjee, has gone through a massive change in terms of storyline. The makers have given the show a fresh spin by taking the story 18 years ahead. Now, the storyline revolves around gen next, Rituraj and Reshmi who look just like Anuj and Guddi respective barring a few minor changes. Well, along with the new storyline, the show welcomed actor Rano Joy Bishnu back in another avatar along with Shyamoupti Mudly playing double roles. That’s not all a number of new characters have been introduced to the show. One such role is played by actress Oindrila Bose. She is playing Rituraj’s friend in the show. Oindrila plays the role of a modern girl named Ayantika who is passionate about music. She is mostly seen in western outfits that suits the on-screen character well.
Oindrila is happy to join the cast. She was last seen in Pratik Sen and Debchandrima Singha Roy starrer ‘Saheber Chithi’, where she played Pratik’s reel sister. The character had interesting shades. Unfortunately, ‘Saheber Chithi’ had a quick inning on Bengali small screen and went off-air much sooner than expected. Prior to that, Oindrila was seen in ‘Mon Phagun’ playing a negative character. After Saheber Chithi ended, Oindrila wasn’t seen in any TV shows, she rejuvenated herself by going on trips and spending me-time. The actress also did some commercials and photo shoots in between. And now, she is back on the small screen with TV a new chapter of ‘Guddi’.
