Amrapali Gupta returns to the TV show Tujhse Hai Raabta

Amrapali Gupta, who is known for shows like Bahu Begum and Qubool Hai, will be returning to the show Tujhse Hai Raabta as Madhuri Deshmukh. The actress was a part of the show in the initial few episodes when it went on air last year. She is now returning to the show after gap of a year. “The story was still in initial phase during my earlier episodes and my role then was limited. When I received the call about returning to the show, I was ecstatic and nostalgic because the show has been one of my personal favourites. I love Reem Shaikh (Amrapali’s co-actor in the show) like my son Kabir and look forward to working with her again,” says Amrapali, adding, “As I play the role of Kalyani’s (played by Reem) biological mother Madhuri, her return will bring a lot of twists and turns to the show. We have seen how Madhuri has been a selfish person, but she loved her husband and daughter. However, this time around my character has amnesia, and she may or may not even remember her daughter,” adds Amrapali.
