Amrapali, Yash name baby after his TV character: Holi for TV couple Amrapali Gupta and Yash Sinha turned out to be doubly festive as they became parents to a boy on that auspicious day. Born on March 24, the newborn has been named Kabir. Incidentally, that was Yash’s name in his last show Code Red, where he played a crime journalist. The actress, however, says that inspiration for the name did not come from the TV show. “We wanted a name that was timeless and stood for something good. My father-in-law was keen on Kabir. So, we short-listed some names and conducted a poll among family and friends. And Kabir won hands down in that voting,” said Amrapali.

Amar-Aryaman: Like father, like son: Amar Upadhyay is a proud father. His 13-year-old son Aryaman recently won a gold medal in the 35th National Taekwondo Championship. The teenager, who’s done a number of advertisements, was also declared the youngest Taekwondo black belt in India three years ago. Incidentally, Amar himself is a black belt in Taekwondo and so is his 15-year-old daughter Chenab. “I always wanted my children to master any form of martial art and I’m so happy to see that today they are capable of taking care of themselves,” he says. About Aryaman, he says, “He has a lot of power and accuracy. He’s very dedicated, which is a must because when it comes to martial arts, practice is necessary. It’s like a sword which needs to be polished and sharpened regularly.” The Saathiya actor’s recent injury has kept him away from Taekwondo, but he hopes to get back to it soon. “I can’t wait to begin my practice with Aryaman,” smiles Amar.

It's a celebration time for Drashti Dhami her brother Jaysheel and Suhasi Dhami as the 'Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli' actress has delivered a baby boy. Suhasi, who is married to Drashti's brother Jaysheel gave birth to a baby boy last week.

Sources inform that Drashti, who is a bua (Aunt) now is super excited with the arrival of a new member in the family. The baby and mother both are healthy.

When contacted, the proud mother Suhasi shared, "I am very happy. It's a feeling that can't be expressed in words. The baby is keeping everyone busy. The entire family is very happy. We are still contemplating when to celebrate."
