The island of Murano is where you'll find the world's finest glassware, and this store stocks some of the best. Established in 1921, Venini has been producing sought-after collectibles ever since and, although not cheap, the quality and individuality here guarantees a good investment. Pick up an original Cutolo or Dordoni at factory prices, saving a packet on what you'd pay back home.

Visitors can tour the workshop and watch items being made, before browsing a showroom of paperweights, glasses and jewellery, as well as innovative floor lights, wall sconces and perfume bottles. There is an additional Venini store in Piazzetta Leoncini, San Marco 314.
