Cruise on vaporetto on the Grand Canal! No visit to Venice would be complete without taking a ride down the Grand Canal. One of the things that makes Venice unique is its canals and waterways. and instead of buses here (there is no road traffic in Venice), you can use the water buses or Vaporetto to get around the city.
Although the time for cruising on the Vaporetto down the Grand Canal is always right, you can benefit the most of it if you board the vaporetto number 1 in the evening at the Piazzale Roma since most tourists head in the opposite direction at that time; thus, the boat will be less crowded allowing you to get a better view.
