What is Air India's flight to nowhere?

Air India is reportedly planning to start flights to nowhere. As the name suggests, these flights aren't really going anywhere. In fact such flights to nowhere take off and land at the same airport. So, what's their purpose? It's basically a joy ride.

The Air India joyride is going to give passengers scenic views of major sights. The idea is not new. Australian air carrier, Qantas Airways recently launched its Flight to Nowhere and the tickets sold out in 10 minutes. The Qantas Airways flight is going to take passengers to see the Outback and the Great Barrier Reef. The flight is seven hours long.
Back home, Air India has planned to use Boeing 747 jumbo jet for this purpose. These flights will operate at Minimum Obstacle Clearance Altitude (MOCA). This is the lowest safe level for flying, and this will allow passengers to see the intended sights. The MOCA varies from city to city, and prevents crashing into buildings and other obstacles.

Not only Australia, but Singapore too is planning the same. These flights will take off from the Changi Airport, and land at the same airport. These flights night include hotel stays, shopping vouchers, and even limousine rides.
Surely this seems like a plan, but it isn't exactly the thrill of going to a brand new place. That might take some time; until then, we can always go to nowhere.
