Croatia is the latest country to discuss the possibilities of opening the country to foreign tourists. Ever since the vaccination drive has started the world over, countries are taking little steps to open up for tourism. Now Croatia has announced that those foreign travellers who have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days before their departure can enter the country without tests, or quarantine requirements.
Moreover, those travellers who have already had the virus, and are now negative, are required to show a certificate from a physician stating so. This should have been within the last 180 days from your travel.
If any travellers is planning to enter Croatia without any of the above prerequisites, then he or she is required to get a PCR testing or a rapid antigen testing done immediately upon arrival. The cost of the test needs to be borne by the traveller. Furthermore, such people are required to stay under self-isolation until the arrival of the test results. Your children under the age of seven if accompanied by you or a guardian need not take such tests.
Also, all travellers to Croatia who are entering the country for leisure, need to show confirmation of their hotel accommodation, besides filling an online form.
