The number of international tourists tells a lot about the growing popularity of Vietnam as a vacation hub. In June, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism announced that the nation was visited by more than 5.5 million foreign visitors in the first six months of 2023. The number has already crossed the total number of international arrivals in 2022!
Vietnam's tourist sector has predicted more tourist influx in Vietnam and has set a target of 8 million visitors for the rest of the months in 2023. But the tourism bureau has now predicted the numbers will reach 10 million soon.
As per the Vietnam hospitality sector, the visitors are coming primarily from China, Indian and Korea.
Some of the prime tourist attractions in Vietnam include Hoi An Ancient Town, Halong Bay, Cu Chi Tunnels, Marble Mountains and Notre Dame Cathedral in Saigon, to name a few.
