With this latest step, those visiting this tiger reserve will now be able to go on wildlife safari from Satyanarayan Mandir to Kasro throughout the year, as per Chief Wildlife Warden JS Suhag.
J S Suhag added that this decision will provide a boost to tourism, apart from offering relief to safari operators, who have been hit hard financially due to the COVID pandemic. He also added that others whose livelihoods are also connected with it, will benefit immensely from the said decision.
This step was also taken after safari operators of the Rajaji Tiger Reserve and people's representatives of the area had written to Suhag recently, requesting him to open parts of the reserve for round-the-year safari on the lines of Corbett Tiger Reserve.
