Turks and Caicos to remove pre-arrival testings for fully vaxxed travellers from May 1

The popular Caribbean heavens of Turks and Caicos has decided to remove pre-arrival tests for fully vaxxed visitors starting next month. As per the Turks And Caicos Tourist Board, from May 1, the beautiful islands will allow travellers to enter without going through pre-arrival testing and no insurance will be needed. Also, travellers will not have to fill any form on the TCI Assured Portal.

However, travellers will have to show proof of their vaccination before arriving.
Pamela Ewing, the director of tourism for the islands, said, "We are delighted to make it easier for travelers to rediscover Turks and Caicos. Throughout 2021 and the first quarter of 2022, we saw strong visitor numbers from our largest source market, the United States and we believe the measures announced today will boost numbers further in 2022."

Before this, travellers of age 16 and older wanting to visit Turks and Caicos needed to show their proof of vaccination. But travellers 2 and older had to show their negative COVID-19 test report taken within three days of visiting the island.
