As per the US Embassy in the Philippines, the nation has allowed visa-free travel. Also vaccinated travellers no longer need to quarantine upon arrival. However, they’ll have to show a negative PCR test report not older than 48 hours of their departure along with self-monitoring for seven days after arrival.
On the other hand, unvaccinated visitors are allowed to enter the country but they’ll have to quarantine in a government facility, then get tested for COVID-19 on the fifth day, and quarantine at home for two weeks (14 days). Kids under 18 are exempt from vaccination requirements.
Tourism Secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat said, "We are also aware that there is no room for complacency given the unpredictability of the virus".
The Philippines neighbouring nations, Bali and Thailand recently reopened their borders and reintroduced quarantine-free travel. The country is noted for being home to some of the incredibly beautiful islands and beaches in the world.
