Reports add that this will not create any hassle for passengers as they will get all important and boarding related information updated on digital screens, while they will also receive all important updates on their respective mobile numbers. Technology based and automated PA systems will also be deployed at the airport to provide important updates to passengers. However, reports add that emergency related announcements will continue on public announcement systems.
An official spokesperson from Jaipur International Airport added that to ensure that passengers do not miss any vital information, dozens of screens have been installed all over to display flight information for passengers. He added that the display screens have been placed at strategic locations outside and inside the terminal, security hold area, and at check-in halls. In short, passengers will not only get all important information updated on the digital screens, they will also receive those messages on their mobile numbers.
Reportedly, automated public address systems will also be deployed at the airport to provide important updates to the passengers. Airlines will also update passengers on all travel-related information in their respective capacities.
Now, a few days before it turns into a silent airport, an awareness drive is being run at the airport to make passengers aware of the new development with display screens and signages.
