Referring to this, MSRTC Managing Director Shekhar Channe said that it will be a complete day trip that will offer a good experience to visitors, along with giving them an opportunity to enjoy the ropeway to reach the fort. He added special buses for Raigad will be made available on Sundays, which will leave Mumbai Central depot at 5 AM and reach near Raigad at around 9:30 AM. After having breakfast at local restaurants, which is not included in the costs, the visitors can take the ropeway to reach the fort, which will cost them INR 100 one way.
Reportedly, a one-way bus journey will cost you INR 260, which means the total cost for to and from the journey will be INR 520. This amount, however, does not include the refreshment cost and the ropeway tickets.
